Brookings, South Dakota?

So, you might be asking 'Why on earth did those two stop in Brookings, SD?' Well, there is a reason: South Dakota State University, located there, is Jeff's alma mater. Yes, the Jackrabbits instilled fear in their opponents with just the mention of their name. That fear of being hopped to death still lingers in some minds. It was really cool to be on the campus where Jeff learned so much about agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry, and city planning. I kept seeing these strange signs all over campus:


Hmm. Wonder what those meant and who put them up. I contemplated going into the Administration Building and asking to see Jeff's records, but thought there were probably things on it that were better left unknown. It makes me respect him all the more knowing that he spent 4 years in a town where one end of Main Street was overshadowed by a grain elevator.
